If travelling from the north on SH 1, at the top of the hill before you descend into Taupo, turn left into Huka Falls Road, just after you enter the 80 kph restriction and about the time you get your first view of Lake Taupo. Then follow the directions * below.
If travelling from the south, take SH 1 heading north from Taupo. Cross the Waikato River at the Control Gates bridge and continue up the hill, turning right into Huka Falls Road near the top of the hill. This is the first right turn after you leave Taupo. Then follow the directions * below.

Continue along Huka Falls Road, past the Huka Resort and vineyard on you left. Take the next street to your left, Clearwater Lane, and turn right into Ferndale Way.
