Rive Gauche is a stylish 4-year-old boutique bed and breakfast lodge offering quality home-hosted accommodation near Huka Falls, Taupo. A blend of contemporary NZ and traditional European design, Rive Gauche was purpose-built to offer B&B and self-catering (studio)options.
Architect-designed and located on a one hectare site overlooking landscaped gardens and its own private vineyard, Rive Gauche overlooks the Waikato River valley from the left bank of the river. (Rive Gauche means left bank in French). Spacious outdoor living areas including a garden courtyard are available for guest use. We offer accommodation in two well-appointed B&B rooms, King and Queen, and a studio apartement.

From our convenient location on the edge of the Wairakei Tourist Park, only 2 km (3 minutes drive) from Taupo town centre and a pleasant 30 minute walk from Huka Falls, guests can take advantage of the walking and cycle trails right on our doorstep as well as the numerous activites in the park and in Taupo and district.
